
Jeffers Miruka
Jeffers Miruka is a Kenyan association management and MICE specialist with over 15 years of experience in leading Africa’s associations sector. He founded and served as President of the African Society of Association Executives (AfSAE), launched in 2015 as a pan African professional community for association executives. Miruka is co founder and Managing Director of AFAMCO (the African Association Management Company)—a joint venture with Talley Management Group—which supports associations across Africa with governance, events, and professional development services. Additionally, he has played a key role in the formation of the Association for Kenya Business Events (AKBE), contributing to Kenya's positioning as a premier meetings destination in Africa. Recognised internationally, Miruka participates as a mentor at ICCA events and contributes as a frequent speaker and writer in the global association community. He’s an alumnus of the prestigious Diversity Executive Leadership Program (DELP) by the Centre for Associations Leadership (ASAE). He has a Master of Science in Data Science.
