CSIR ICC to Host Africa’s Premier Association Summit
The African Society of Association Executives (AfSAE) has announced that the 6th Africa Association Summit (AAS6) will take place in Pretoria, South Africa, from 19th to 21st October 2025 at the CSIR International Convention Centre (CSIR ICC). As one of Africa’s leading knowledge and innovation hubs, Pretoria offers the perfect setting for AAS6 to inspire connection, collaboration, and capacity building among association leaders from across the continent and globally.
The CSIR ICC, renowned for its world-class facilities and strategic location within Africa’s “Innovation Square Mile,” will host this dynamic and impactful summit. About The Theme
This theme acknowledges that associations are at a critical crossroads where digital transformation, generational shifts, and changing membership expectations are converging. The term “Digital Convergence” suggests the integration of various technologies and platforms to create seamless experiences, while “Generation Next” speaks to both young professionals and the future-focused mindset needed to thrive.
This theme positions AAS6 as a forward-looking event that addresses how associations can harness technology not just as tools, but as catalysts for fundamental transformation in how they deliver value, especially to younger members who have different expectations and engagement preferences.
